RefWorks: Share Citations in Refworks

Share Your Citations

You can share your citations in Refworks with others for a joint research project.

A. Getting Started

  1. Log into your Refworks account.
  2. Click the tab on the left "Sharing."
    (See below in Image 1.)
  3. Click the second tab below “Sharing” titled “Share a folder” and select your sharing settings. You have two options: share with “only invited people may access” or “anyone within your organization may join this folder”. After you select your setting, choose a folder from the drop down; enter the email address or addresses of the people you want to share your citations with at Florida International University.
(See in Image 1 and Image 2.)
  4. Before you share and click “Done”, make sure to assign rights to those you invite (next to the email address field): “can read, can annotate, and “can modify”.
  5. Hit "Done."
