Mendeley's "Web Importer" is available for multiple browsers. Sign into your online Mendeley account and look for it under the "Download" option. Mendeley will usually recognize which browser you are using and automatically suggest the right one to install. The Mendeley Web Importer will detect potential references from a single item you are viewing or a list of results that you might be viewing in your browser. You can then send the item(s) reference information (title, publication year, author, etc...) to the Mendeley folder of your choice. If the Mendeley Web Importer detects a PDF, you have the option of sending the PDF in addition to the citation metadata. The PDF will also save itself to a Mendeley Downloads folder on your computer.
Having installed the Mendely Microsoft Word Plugin, select it from the Word Ribbon to begin adding citations that you have stored in your synced Mendely Library. This is how it would appear in Microsoft Word 2016 on a Windows PC.
